Overview
A relaxed half-day drive through Namibia's capital — a city that mixes German colonial architecture, modern African government buildings, and the everyday neighborhoods where Windhoekers actually live. We'll cover the must-see historic landmarks AND wind through the suburbs so you leave knowing where Windhoek's heart beats: from the leafy embassies of Klein Windhoek and Eros, down Independence Avenue in the CBD, past the imposing Heroes' Acre south of the city, and through Khomasdal and Katutura — the neighborhoods built during apartheid where most of Windhoek now lives, with the best informal food on the trip. Five hours, one comfortable vehicle, an English-speaking local guide who actually grew up here, and time at every stop for photos and questions.
